your concern regarding communication will be depend on the placement which you going to except, if you choose to be in city or big town ..the internet facilites will be avilable and yes you can use your laptop, i had no probless in acess in internet or phone at home. volunteer allownce is enought for daily needs like food... but if you want to spend more money on internet or traveling or buying more new cloths then you might find that given allownces are little as oversea will be expencive then india (smile) but one thing i can say its all possible if you wish too. I will just advise you too just pick up option of CITY placement and know about the country which you will accept.
Thank you. I would have accepted placement last year but for some sudden commitments. Perhaps I Volunteers can use my services in any other way.
welcom to ivo family, well my 2 year expriance with vso was too good and memoriable,life changing !. iyes i am going to be volunteer again, i have been given a placment of PNG.waitng for further process.
