Hi all you guys. It has been a pleasure knowing you all. I was not found suitable for volunteer work after my assessment day as per the Selectors. Though I am extremely disappointed and quite perplexed, I am sure they had their good reasons, which I can't seem to see. Good luck to all you guys, and keep up the good work. Bye.
welcom to ivo family Mr. Yogen
well about me I am basically social worker who has been vso in namibia. about assessment day I belive you have taken a quite few advices from other ivo-vso those are working in oversea.(smile) from my side i would say Assessment day is the day where ivo team will try to learn about you as a person, there will be different activities and group work where they will observe your qualities and skills. so just relax its a fun joing assessement day. be confident and be cooprative. all the best
Hi, welcome to Ivo platform..Wish you the best of luck.
No need to worry about the assessment day..Only they will look for your personal qualities and how you work in team, also they will look for your commitment for two years placement..
Generally the assessment day to see how interest you are for accepting a placement in abroad and willing to stay in a modest living condition and also how you think about your role and skills can be helpfull for the world development..
