Hi All!
I chanced upon this community through a mail and was so impressed that I signed up immediately. This would be my first blog but rest assured...many more are going to come as time flies by. I have to accept that I was really naive when it came to understanding the human development sector. But ever since I switched from corporate sales to consulting, research and capacity building in the field of human development-more precisely in health and women & child development, every day has b…

Hello Friends,
We know, this social net work of ‘ivoindia’ stands as a platform for the Indian ‘vso’ volunteers and the aspirants to share their experience each other and do strengthen their friendship for a common goal of a better world, but as a regular visitor of this community website I feel the presence of some intruders (Please refer the comment made by Mr.K.G Raja Mohan to Mr.Rahul Nainwal on 14th September,2009 ) who make use of our website as a raised area for their scams. The members o…

Hello Friends,
One of my friends who has just returned from East Africa told me that the Indians are not welcomed in Africa even in NGO sector. They prefer Europeans rather than us due to their professionalism. Indians are considered to be money oriented not service oriented. He advised me if I choose to go to Africa I would have to select the country where the Indian influence is less. How the Indian volunteers in Africa would like to comment on it?
